4 TONS of trash cleaned up!

A public cleanup day at the popular Dosie Pit public shooting area. The area is located about 10 miles from downtown Prescott on Iron Springs Road. The Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, the official NRA State Association, hosted an information tent along with the Prescott Forest Service with instructions and materials.

Yavapai County Sheriff’s Department personnel were on hand along with AZ Game and Fish representatives to answer questions about the ongoing problems of illegal dumping on public lands.
