The Tread Lightly! Membership Drawing is sponsored by Tread Lightly! Inc., a tax-exempt non-profit, non-partisan, national nonprofit, which the IRS permits to operate as a public charity. Eligibility

Automatic entry for the Membership Drawing is offered only through the Tread Lightly! website and membership renewal letters to persons 18 years old or older. Those eligible for automatic entry include new and renewing Individual Members, Dealer Members, Outfitter Members, and Retailer Members. 

 

Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor; affiliates; advertising, promotion, cagers, and fulfillment agencies; and legal advisors, and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household, are not eligible to participate in the Drawing. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

 

Only Non-Profits Can Benefit From Net Drawing Proceeds

100% of all net Drawing proceeds benefit Tread Lightly!. Tread Lightly!’s mission is to proactively protect recreation access and opportunities in the outdoors through ethics education and stewardship initiatives.

Winners

Winners may be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and, where lawful, a publicity agreement, in connection with accepting prize, all within 14 days of notification. By accepting and/or using prize, winner agrees to the use of his or her name, voice, or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed affidavit and releases as required, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
 
Conditions
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Rules & Regulations and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. Sponsor, agents, and representatives of Sponsor; affiliates; advertising, promotion, cagers, and fulfillment agencies; and legal advisors, are not responsible for and shall not be liable for (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible tickets (ii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the Drawing to be disrupted or corrupted; (iii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance or possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Drawing, or (iv) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Drawing. 
 
By Participating In the Drawing
Participants agree to release and hold Sponsor and the employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor; affiliates; advertising, promotion, cagers, and fulfillment agencies; and legal advisors, harmless from any kind of losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Drawing or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
 
Winners List and Rules & Regulations
To obtain the name of the Drawing winners send a request along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: 298 24th Street Suite 325, Ogden, UT 84401.  To obtain a copy of these Rules & Regulations send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the address mentioned above.
 
How To Enter When You Join As a New Member or Renew Your Membership
Simply send in the appropriate amount of membership fee; Individual $20, Retailer/Outfitter $50, Dealership $150, Official Sponsor Club $250, or Member club $100, Credit Card or Check (made out to Tread Lightly!).
 
No Purchase Necessary, You Need Not Be Present To Win
You need not be present to win. In lieu of a Membership Registration Form containing member dues, you may obtain a Decline to Pay Membership Dues Entry Form by sending a request and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Tread Lightly! 298 24th Street Suite 325, Ogden, UT 84401. Limit one entry per Decline to Pay Membership Dues Entry Form.  Free entries defeat the charitable fundraising purpose of the Drawing and are not encouraged by several States. 
  
The Prize, Date, Time, And Place Of The Drawing
Tread Lightly! will hold drawing for prizes on October 2, 2007; December 2, 2007; January 2, 2008; March 2, 2008; April 2, 2008; July 1, 2008; October 1, 2008. Entrants will be contacted within two weeks of drawing.
